SUBJECT: Leadership Coaching Evaluation

I recently completed Colman and Company’s Executive Women’s leadership development program. I gained great insight about myself and learned valuable coaching tools. The program is designed for women in senior management roles or transitioning into management or business development roles. One of the key valuable components about the program for me was that the participants were all women. It put things into a different framework which allowed me to recognize and appreciate the strengths that I bring to the table. With this recognition, I was able to develop and utilize my personal attributes to increase performance, boost confidence, and build a stronger team.

The increased confidence has been evidenced by my successful delivery of several presentations to some large audiences over the past six months. It has also helped me to understand the value of diversity and to utilize these differences to build a stronger team. Taking time to appreciate, acknowledge, and encourage each person’s strengths, empowers them to contribute more.

The program teaches focused and global listening skills to improve communications. It also included accountability exercises, coaching exercises, business development training, and emotional intelligence education. The greatest value was providing the opportunity for self-exploration and development in an environment with a different culture. This encouraged considering alternative solutions and thinking outside of the box to spur growth and increase productivity. I would recommend this program for a senior women officer who wants to increase her game. I exceeded my goals in the program.”
